Ways to Engage With Us

1. Job Applications

We are always looking for dedicated professionals passionate about rural development, healthcare, and social engineering. Whether you are an experienced project manager, a healthcare provider for our Mobile Medical Units, or a field coordinator, we offer a platform to turn your skills into social impact.

2. Internships (National & International)

Are you a student looking to gain hands-on experience in the developmental sector? Our internship program offers students (from MSW, Public Health, Agriculture, and Management backgrounds) the opportunity to work on the ground in the Western Ghats. You will move beyond textbooks to understand the real-world challenges of tribal and rural communities.

3. Research Fellowships

SCODWES provides a rich environment for scholars and researchers. We invite Research Fellows to study our impact areas—such as tribal ethnobotany, the success of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), or sustainable organic farming practices. We provide field support and data access for fellows aiming to contribute to the body of knowledge in social sciences and rural development.

4. Call for Publications & Documentation

We actively document our field learnings and traditional community knowledge. We welcome collaborations with writers, photographers, and social researchers to contribute to our annual reports, case studies, and policy white papers. If you have a story or a study related to our focus areas, we want to help you publish it to a wider audience.
